Project: Accessibility and cognitive disabilities

Stage: Proposal writing

We are working to make accessibility guidelines that focus on cognitive disabilities. Guidelines that allow author to make their content usable by as many people as possible. It should include people with learning disabilities, short term memory loss (such as mild to moderate Alzheimer’s) and language disabilities. 

This is being done as part of the Protocols and Formats Working Group (PFWG), part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the W3C.
